Randal is a Project Manager at The Robert Group, specializing in government and community relations, public education, legislative advocacy, and economic development. She has an extensive background in governmental affairs within both the public and private sector, which is complemented by over 8 years of community involvement. Randal has combined her passion for community and government engagement, transportation, economic development, and the environment at TRG. She embraces projects that create more sustainable and healthy communities, generating more opportunities and resources to allow people to thrive.
As a Project Manager, Randal has spearheaded several initiatives with the City of Inglewood, City of Los Angeles and Metro including the City of Champions Revitalization initiative to amend the Hollywood Park Specific Plan to include a Sports and Entertainment component, garnering city-wide support collecting over 20,000 signatures and the re-opening of The Forum in 2014 with Madison Square Garden. Currently, Randal is leading the community/public relations for the Los Angeles Stadium and Entertainment District at Hollywood Park, currently under construction. Randal has established strong relationships with City of Inglewood elected officials and staff, the business community, stakeholders and residents; conducting presentations and keeping the public informed in all aspects of the project. Randal is also working on the Metro Purple Line Extension and led the Community Relations team in San Francisco with SFMTA for the Central Subway line currently under construction.
Prior to Randal’s current position she worked for the City of Los Angeles and Microsoft Corporation growing their community relations/citizenship programs and building new partnerships across Los Angeles. Randal has worked with nonprofit and youth organizations, with a strong connection to giving back to the community and providing new opportunities to the youth.
Randal holds a Masters of Arts in Political Science, focusing on American and Local Government from California State University Northridge, a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from Syracuse University and a Certificate in Global Sustainability and Public Policy from UCLA. In her free time, Randal enjoys traveling, hiking around Los Angeles, practicing yoga, and cheering on the Syracuse Orange and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
