The Robert Group completed the first phase of work with the Port of Los Angeles to lead a community outreach effort for the Port’s redevelopment Master Plan. The project area stretched for more than seven miles along the waterfront, from the Vincent Thomas Bridge to the Federal breakwater in San Pedro, CA. Working with neighborhood councils, residents associations, historical societies, community groups, and business interests, TRG innovatively motivated community participation through participating in, and hosting, activities such as clean-up days, youth soccer tournaments, and historical walking tours.
