TRG is working with San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) to provide public outreach for the Central Subway – also known as Phase 2 of Muni’s Third Street Light Rail Project. With 4 new stations, this 1.7-mile extension will provide access to major retail, sporting, and cultural destinations. Stops in South of Market (SoMa), Yerba Buena, Union Square, and Chinatown will allow passengers to connect and explore many more of the diverse, historic neighborhoods of San Francisco. Construction activities are already underway and San Francisco is ready for this long-awaited line, expected to open in 2019.
