Isaiah Ford is the Managing Director for The Robert Group and oversees day-to-day management of projects and operations. He brings over 10 years of experience in public affairs, community engagement and planning to the firm. Prior to joining The Robert Group, Isaiah served as the Senior Manager of Event Operations for MZA Events. As their operations leader, he oversaw all event operations for events including AIDS Walk New York, AIDS Walk Los Angeles, AIDS Walk San Francisco and Tour de Summer Camps, while assisting with the TCS New York City Marathon.
Isaiah holds a Masters in Public Administration with an emphasis in Urban Studies and Planning from California State University, Northridge, and a B.S. in Political Science from Boise State University. His community organizing pursuits led him to spend time and live in Nairobi, Kenya, creating community development projects and teaching at a disability school in the Kibera slum of Nairobi.
He is actively involved in a number of community and civic organizations and currently serves as an Assistant Sports Coach for CoachArt’s sports club programs and is a co-founder and board member for the non-profit, Marally. When he is not active in the community, Isaiah enjoys backpacking, running ultramarathons, traveling, learning to cook, and most recently, experimenting in mountaineering and alpine climbing.
