Summary
The Turner-AECOM-Hunt Joint Venture team was awarded the contract to build a state-of-the-art 70,000 seat stadium and future home of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers. The stadium, now officially named SoFi Stadium, opened in September 2020 with Taylor Swift's highly anticipated Lover tour. Anchored by the three million square feet stadium, the 298-acre urban village includes two million square feet of commercial space, 2,500 modern residences, a 6,000-seat performing arts venue, and 25 acres of public parks. The Los Angeles Stadium and Entertainment District at Hollywood Park transformed the site of the former Hollywood Park Racetrack to a year-round sports and entertainment destination for the enjoyment of people throughout Southern California.

The Robert Group (TRG) worked at the cusp of the Hollywood Park project since 2009 during the original 238-acre Master Plan phase. TRG engaged residents, community and business leaders, and interested stakeholders in an open and involved process to generate feedback, motivate participation, and explore all potential land uses for the Hollywood Park site. Through this work, TRG developed invaluable relationships with the City of Inglewood, City Council and Staff, stakeholders, residents and businesses.

TRG led the outreach efforts in 2015 during the City of Champions Revitalization Initiative to garner support for the amended Hollywood Park Project to include a Sports and Entertainment zone. With unanimous support from Inglewood City Council and over 20,000 signatures collected in support of the initiative, TRG is proud to be a part of the Turner-AECOM-Hunt Joint Venture in community engagement to build the NFL approved stadium.
