Summary
The Plummer Park Comprehensive Improvement Plan for the City of West Hollywood is a strategic community-driven plan that aims to use public input to play a key role in the planning process. The plan will act as a holistic framework to explore open spaces, parks, and recreation while addressing the community needs to improve the existing recreational and visitor experience. The Plummer Park Comprehensive Improvement Plan will be a highly participatory process that includes many forms of outreach and opportunities to include broad, diverse stakeholder and community input.

The Robert Group (TRG), in teaming with SWA, will employ an engagement strategy that is inclusive and comprehensive to achieve diverse perspectives from every constituent. The engagement strategy will include a range of engagement opportunities to ensure individuals can select their preferred path and communicate effectively.

The engagement strategy will include a Community Brainstorm Workshop; pop-up events with a focus to engage with marginalized communities for a diverse perspective;  topical chats with key groups, residents, elected leaders, city staff and business owners focusing on key park functions; outreach with key groups; an interactive and virtual engagement activity using ArcGIS Story Map; and one final in-person house to unveil and celebrate the final plan.

Beyond the community meetings, additional outreach efforts will include developing content and materials, giveaways and advertising materials for a broad public engagement campaign.

Through thoughtful outreach and active participation, the final Plummer Parks Comprehensive Improvement will create a roadmap for the park that best reflects the needs and values of the community of West Hollywood.
